PvP characters? Did you see them in Great Temple of Balthazar or areas such as FA or JQ?

easy enough to make a new toon in NF then taxi to docks followed by LA and then KC... means u will have 2 full campaigns open to you to level a char without taking a 2ndry

Don't think so. We've had a person asking this about a week ago, and I'll ask the same question: what's the point?

I have para running around without secondary, and tbh, I don't mind missing secondary on that. When I want, I could go and take the secondary, but as long as my kurzick is only r3, I think I don't have use for SY! there..

Seconds: I don't even imba too much. I prefer motivation and command more than SY! coz W's can do that as well. Lots of W's using SY! these days as part of their bars.

Even if you can't keep SY up 100% (for whatever reason) it's generally worthwhile. 82.32% damage reduction is massive, even for 4 seconds at a time. It's longer than you'd think. Besides, look at each skill on your bar and ask yourself whether that skill does more than make your team basically invincible (in NM, at least, still very powerful defense in HM).

I've heard motivation isn't that useful, and looking at the skill list, I don't think there's much that is anywhere near as useful as SY. Also, 2 copies of SY in a team isn't a bad thing. The War will get covered, the backline will be covered if they're out of shout range, and you'll have backup if the War is somehow disabled.

NOTE: I'm not saying run SY or you fail, by all means don't use it if you don't like it, but I don't think you realise how powerful it actually is.

I've seen and used the Almighty SY! more than enough. It makes my ranger a tank that takes 0 dmg (especially with Winter on) and I have a W to use SY! with. I know it's more suitable for para's, but I don't deny that any other prof couldn't use it. I've even used my rit as a shouter. oO

But anyway: talking about motivation. When you have full party with lots of casters, those "Dwayna's Sorrow" kind of small buffs on casters are more than useful. Helps a lot keeping casters alive, as example. Combined with few offensive buffs, even frontline gets part of the support.

EDIT: And takes a bit of that pressure off from monks.
